Elizabeth Schultheiss


Elizabeth Schultheiss joined the Homestead Savings Bank Board of Directors in 2014. She is currently employed by the Battle Creek Community Foundation where she provides leadership for regional initiatives. Responsibilities include providing leadership and oversight for the Regional Health Alliance, a community partnership to improve health in Calhoun County, developing strategic partnerships throughout the Region, and supporting the Governance committee of the Board of Trustees.

Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan University, a Master’s of Arts in interior design and facilities management from Michigan State University, and a Master’s of Public Administration from Western Michigan. She served as a nonprofit executive for over 17 years, in various positions in Albion, including as the executive director of the Albion Community Foundation, Kids ‘N’ Stuff children’s museum, and the Albion Downtown Development Authority. She has a strong background of community involvement, including serving as a board member for the Friends of the Bohm Theatre, Friends of the Ismon House, and Albion Business Education Partnership. Her civic participation includes serving on the City of Albion Recreation Master Plan Citizens Advisory Committee, the City of Albion Sign Board of Appeals, and being a member of the Calhoun County Planning Commission.
